This blog features Quooker Boiling Water Taps, a tap providing instant boiling water and is available in a range of designs to suit your taste. With a Quooker system in your kitchen you always have instant 100°C boiling water alongside regular hot and cold. Add a Quooker CUBE and you will also have filtered chilled and sparkling water.

Invented by founder Henri Peteri back in 1970, the brand has grown significantly over the years with more people replacing their traditional kettle with a Quooker. Ultimately, installing a Quooker saves water, energy, time, money and makes your kitchen a far safer place.

How does a Quooker tap work?

The Quooker system consists of a small tank in the kitchen cupboard that is linked to the tap on the worktop. The tank acts like a vacuum flask connected to the water mains. The air in the insulated wall is so thin that the heat is unable to escape.

It therefore takes very little energy (just 10 watts) to keep the water at the required temperature.

It is unique patented technology that differentiates Quooker from the rest.

Stylish and practical range to suit any kitchen

The Quooker tap range is the epitome of style and practicality, offering a perfect blend of elegance and functionality. With models like the Quooker Fusion, Flex, and Nordic TwinTaps, this range caters to diverse needs and design preferences.

The Fusion model showcases a sleek and minimalist design, seamlessly integrating into any modern kitchen. Its polished chrome finish exudes sophistication while the convenient boiling water function provides instant hot water for drinks, cooking, and cleaning.

The Flex model takes practicality to the next level with its flexible pull-out hose, making it ideal for filling pots and vases with ease. Available in brushed chrome or stainless-steel finish, it adds a touch of contemporary flair to any kitchen.

Lastly, the Nordic TwinTaps combine both hot and cold water functions with a separate boiling water tap, ensuring convenience and versatility in one elegant package. The Quooker tap range truly embodies style and practicality, elevating the overall kitchen experience.black sink and tap that is pooring out hot water with steam rising

With a Quooker you waste no water and save on energy as you only heat and use the exact amount of water you need.

Overfilled kettles waste seventy million litres of water a day in the UK, every year. In Britain we use double the amount of water needed to make a brew by over filling the kettle. This wastes energy as we are heating more water than is required and then we throw away the overfill.

Unlike a kettle with a Quooker you cannot re-boil the water.

Re-boiling a kettle is a common practice and you risk concentrating certain undesirable chemicals that may be in your water. Examples of chemicals that become more concentrated include nitrates, arsenic, and fluoride.

With a Quooker CUBE or a cold water filter you can reduce your need to purchase plastic bottled water, simply fill straight from the tap at home.

The average London adult buys more than three plastic water bottles every week - a startling 175 bottles every year per person. In total, some 7.7 billion plastic bottles are bought across the UK each year, resulting in substantial amounts of single-use plastic waste. Every one litre plastic bottle of water wastes over three litres in the manufacturing process.

Safety First

The Quooker is safer in the kitchen too, every year, thousands of small children get badly burnt by boiling water from a falling kettle. A Quooker is fixed to the worktop so it cannot fall over and out of reach of small hands and a special child-safe handle that helps prevent turning the boiling water on.
