MKM Shrewsbury joins the MKM family by becoming MKM's 128^th branch, creating 19 new jobs for the area.

 

The new branch will be led by Branch Director Patrick Chall, who is local to Shrewsbury and has vast experience in the building merchant industry.

 

Commenting on the opening, Branch Director Mr Chall, who is well known in the building industry locally and whose career previously saw him work his way up through the ranks at builders'​ and plumbers'​ merchant Boys and Boden, said:

 

“I’ve lived in Shrewsbury for over 16 years now, it’s a beautiful town and one I’m happy to raise my children in - to have the opportunity to lead a business in an area I love is a real privilege. The community is tight-knit, and I’m determined that the new MKM Shrewsbury branch will be an extension of that. To locals, we want to be the ‘big yellow building down the road’ and our customers can always expect us to be welcoming, helpful and provide the products and services they need.

 

“We’ll do more than just supply great products and give great service, we’ll also be actively upholding MKM’s well-known values to provide support community projects, and we’ve partnered with a local charity, Little Rascals Foundation and we’re in discussions with, local schools and grass roots sports clubs we hope to support, sponsor and advocate for.”

 

With a substantial covered warehouse, MKM Shrewsbury will supply tradespeople and the public with diverse stock and product offerings from prestigious brands such as Dakea, Birtley, Unilin. Sodra imported carcassing and Vandersanden bricks. The branch will also house a stunning MKM kitchen and bathroom showroom, with state-of-the-art displays to inspire customers.
