CUPRINOL EXTERIOR PRESERVER CHESTNUT 5L is a water-based wood preservative that provides long-lasting protection against weather, rot, and blue stain. It is suitable for rough sawn and smooth garden timbers, such as cladding, fencing, sheds, greenhouses, and summerhouses. The product contains active ingredients that penetrate into the timber to prevent decay and rot. It is available in five natural colours, including Chestnut.

CUPRINOL EXTERIOR PRESERVER CHESTNUT 5L is available in a 5L pack and is suitable for use on all types of bare wood, wood that has been previously pressure treated, or wood that has been previously treated with a wood preservative (provided it has been allowed to weather). Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any surface coating, mould, or algae before use. Use pre-treated timber for in-ground contact situations. Shake or stir the product thoroughly before use and frequently during use to ensure even colour. Apply two to three coats of CUPRINOL EXTERIOR PRESERVER CHESTNUT 5L, with three coats recommended for best coverage. Apply subsequent coats as soon as the previous has soaked in. Please note that the colour in the can may look different to when dry. If colour is important, try a small inconspicuous area first.
