Surface Preparation

• All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants.

Concrete surfaces

o Power-floated, granolithic, or smooth surfaces should be roughened before application.

o Methods: Mechanical abrasion, blasting, or acid etching to improve adhesion.

o New concrete requires a curing time of up to 3 months.

Existing painted surfaces

o Clean, degrease, and sand to create a suitable surface for adhesion.

o Remove all loose or flaking paint, treating bare areas as new surfaces.

Application Instructions

• Mix well before use.
• Concrete: First coat should be thinned with 10% white spirit for optimal penetration.
• Other substrates: Apply with a suitable metal or wood primer before coating.
• Ensure adequate ventilation in confined spaces.
• Minimum overcoating time: 16 hours or overnight.

Drying Curing Times
