The Reisser R2 woodscrew features a re-inforced collar to give additional support and prevents snapping. The collar also allows a wide, deep pozi to be inserted which will reduce the risk of bit jumping out & runding off the edges. Hardened steel gives maximum tensile and torsional strength. This combined with the the yellow tropicalized finish gives excellent rust resistance compared to standard BZP screws. The 25 degree needle point is sharp and the thread runs to the end allowing immediate starting.
