The Reisser decking screw has a fast start Spiral point with a cut that gives an instant grab, along with the pre-drill function with helps to eliminate splitting. Faster insertion with less power is provided by a wide single thread that centres the screw quickly and the Reisser lunricant. There is increased ductility with a min 30? bending angle bevause of the specially hardened steel, this is essential when fixing at an angle. Maximum torque transfer and cam out prevention is provided by the unique Reisser reccess which gives a superior driver bit connection (the drive will also accept a SQ2 bit). Tornado ribs under the head leave an attractive finish and also ease countersinking. There are two different thread patterns, the thread under the head prevents board movement, combined with the deep thread on the shaft to provide high pull out resistance into the joists which results in no board movement. Featuring a bronze Nano KTCO coating, estimated 15 years outdoor protection, has been tested to a minimum 2000 hours salt spray resistance, is also Cr-6 free and will resist peel off in timber.
