The Siniat Moisture Board Plasterboard is specially formulated with water-resistant additives, making it an ideal solution for use in humid environments. Its larger size of 3000mm x 1200mm x 12.5mm provides extensive coverage for various applications.
Product Features:
- Moisture Resistance: Conforms to BS EN 520 Type H1 standards (formerly BS 1230 Type 3 and 4), specifically designed for humid areas.
- Quality Composition: Consists of aerated calcium sulphate di-hydrate with fillers, enclosed in a green paper with bound edges. The core and papers are securely bonded with starch, and the edge glue is PVA, enhancing its stability and longevity in damp conditions.
- Fire Reaction Classification: The board holds a Euroclass A2-s1, d0 rating, indicating its excellent fire resistance and minimal smoke production in the event of a fire.
- Finishing and Decorating: It can be jointed and finished with GTEC jointing systems. Priming with GTEC Universal Sealer is required before decorating, and a PVA bonding agent is suggested before plastering.
- Weight and Dimensions: Weighing 42.66 kg, this plasterboard is manageable yet sturdy. The dimensions are suitable for larger spaces or where fewer joints are desired.
